Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced AB / Crane Operator to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the USA.
The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting deck operations as well as operating offshore cranes in accordance with safety and operational standards. Previous experience on similar vessel types is required, along with valid crane operator certification (e.g. Sparrows Stage 3, EnerMech Stage 3, G5, or AIS Survivex).
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operating offshore crane for lifting and cargo handling operations
• Assisting with deck operations, including mooring and equipment handling
• Ensuring safe lifting practices in compliance with procedures
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections of deck equipment
• Supporting overall vessel operations and adhering to safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• First Class Seaman License
• Crane Operator’s Certificate (Sparrows Stage 3 / EnerMech Stage 3 / G5 / AIS Survivex)
• HUET with CA-EBS
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as AB / Crane Operator on similar types of vessels
