Location: UK 

Job Description:

We are looking for a Mate / OOW for a Tug with ongoing fortnightly rotations starting 18th May. The initial trip is 16 days. This is a nightshift position with accommodation shoreside. We can consider those wanting to break into the towage/escort sector. Candidates must hold a UK OOW unlimited certificate and have UK right to work. The rate is £230 per day. Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

· Bridge watchkeeping and navigation duties as Mate / OOW on the tug
· Assistance with towing and escort operations
· Compliance with all safety management systems, ISM, and company HSEQ requirements
· Participation in nightshift operations
· Supporting the Master in daily vessel operations and crew management



Requirements:

Essential Requirements:

· UK OOW unlimited certificate – mandatory
· UK right to work – mandatory
· Valid STCW certificates as per rank
· Valid Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Experience: Previous tug or towage experience preferred, but candidates wanting to break into the sector will be considered
· Availability: Must be available to start 18th May for initial 16-day trip (ongoing fortnightly rotations thereafter)
