Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a CONRO vessel operating worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the vessel’s engine department, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all machinery and technical systems.
The position requires a qualified marine engineer holding a valid Chief Engineer License, with proven experience in the rank of Chief Engineer onboard ocean-going vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Manage and supervise all engine department operations
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and technical systems
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures
• Manage engine department personnel and technical documentation
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC) and Endorsement
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of Chief Engineer
• Experience on CONRO or similar vessel types preferred
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book with documented sea service records
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Good English communication skills
