Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and management of the vessel’s engine room and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all engine room operations and technical activities
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
- Supervise planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with company, class, flag, and offshore safety requirements
- Support safe vessel operations during DP activities
Requirements:
- Valid Chief Engineer’s License
- Valid DPVM Certificate
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar vessel types in the rank of Chief Engineer
- Minimum 1,000 DP hours
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Certificate
- ADNOC approval is preferable
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
