Job Description:
We are looking for a Chief Engineer to join a tugboat for a trip from the Netherlands to Spain and back to the Netherlands. The start date is 21st May and the contract period runs until 20th July. Experience on tugboats is a must. If you are available and meet the requirements, please send your CV.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Management and supervision of all engine room operations
· Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
· Compliance with all safety management systems, ISM, and company HSEQ requirements
· Coordination with the Master regarding fuel consumption, engine performance, and operational planning
· Supervision of engineering crew and maintenance of engine room logs and records

Requirements:
· Experience on tugboats – mandatory
· Valid Chief Engineer COC (Certificate of Competency) appropriate for tug operations
· Valid STCW certificates as per rank
· Valid Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Availability: Must be available to start on 21st May for the period until 20th July
