Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Large AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the vessel’s engine department and ensuring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery onboard.
Open Position:
Chief Engineer
• Vessel: Large AHTS Vessel
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing and supervising all engine-room operations
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of main and auxiliary machinery
• Planning and supervising maintenance and repairs
• Managing engine-room personnel and ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of safety, environmental protection, and HSE compliance
Requirements:
• Strong previous experience as Chief Engineer
• Previous experience on Large AHTS vessels
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant engineering certification
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Good command of English communication
• Availability for an 8-week contract
