Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer with Cable Lay vessel experience to join an offshore project with mobilization in Vietnam. The role requires a highly competent senior engineer to oversee all engine room operations, maintenance, and technical management onboard a cable lay vessel. Immediate availability is essential, as mobilization is required ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overall management of engine room operations and engineering personnel
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of main engines, auxiliaries, and cable-lay-related systems
• Planning and supervising maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Ensuring compliance with Safety Management System (SMS), class, and statutory requirements
• Managing fuel, lubricants, spares, and technical documentation
• Supporting offshore cable lay operations from an engineering perspective

Requirements:
• Valid STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) as Chief Engineer
• Valid STCW Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proven experience on Cable Lay vessels (mandatory)
• All seafarer documents valid and up to date
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong leadership skills and offshore safety awareness
