Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Cable Lay Vessel for an offshore project. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 1st July, with ASAP travel required. This is a 6-week contract, and candidates must have previous cable lay vessel experience to support safe and efficient engineering operations throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing the operation, maintenance, and performance of all engine room machinery and technical systems.
- Leading the engine department and ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
- Planning and supervising maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability.
- Monitoring fuel consumption, machinery performance, and technical documentation.
- Supporting vessel operations by ensuring all engineering systems remain fully operational throughout the project.

Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Previous Cable Lay vessel experience
