Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 1st Engineer to join a vessel operating in Norway with a start date of 13 July 2026. This opportunity is suited to senior marine engineering professionals with a strong offshore background and the required technical and safety certifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engine room, machinery systems, and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with offshore operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and performance of engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
• Managing planned and preventive maintenance activities in accordance with vessel procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards onboard
• Supervising engine room operations and supporting technical troubleshooting when required
• Maintaining technical records, logs, and reporting related to engineering operations and maintenance

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical certificates (MLC & OGUK)
• HUET or BOSIET
• High Voltage certificate
• DP Maintenance certificate
• ERM (Engine Resource Management)
• GWO Sea Survival
• GWO Working at Height
• Proficiency in English communication
