Location: North Sea
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Bosun to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The Bosun will be responsible for supervising deck operations, leading the deck crew, and ensuring safe and efficient execution of all deck-related tasks onboard. Previous experience on similar offshore vessel types is required, along with all mandatory certifications, including Boatswain’s License and HUET with CA-EBS.
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervising and coordinating daily deck operations and deck crew activities
• Assisting with mooring, cargo handling, and lifting operations
• Ensuring proper maintenance of deck equipment and working areas
• Enforcing safety procedures and operational standards onboard
• Reporting to officers and supporting vessel operations efficiently
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Boatswain’s License
• HUET with CA-EBS
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as Bosun on similar types of vessels
