Bosun for Non-DP AHTS Veesel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Bosun for an AHTS Non-DP vessel. The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and support mooring, anchor-handling, maintenance, and other deck operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck crew during daily operations and maintenance.
• Assist with mooring and anchor-handling activities.
• Coordinate deck maintenance, painting, cleaning, and preservation.
• Ensure deck equipment and tools are properly maintained.
• Follow offshore safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bosun.
• AHTS / offshore vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
