Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Bosun to join an AHTS DP2 vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting deck operations, ensuring safe handling of deck equipment, and coordinating the deck crew during offshore activities. Candidates with relevant AHTS and offshore experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate daily deck operations and deck crew activities.
Assist with anchor handling, towing, mooring, and other offshore operations.
Ensure proper handling, inspection, and maintenance of deck machinery and equipment.
Conduct routine deck maintenance, housekeeping, and safety checks.
Ensure all deck activities are carried out safely and according to company procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Bosun
Relevant AHTS / DP2 vessel experience
Offshore experience is highly preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Strong knowledge of deck operations and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of an offshore crew
