Bosun for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting an experienced Bosun to coordinate deck crew activities aboard a non-DP AHTS vessel. The role involves supporting anchor-handling and towing operations, supervising deck maintenance, and ensuring safe use of deck equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck ratings and organize daily work.
• Assist with anchor-handling, towing, and mooring operations.
• Inspect and maintain deck machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures.
• Support deck officers during operational and emergency activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bosun, preferably on AHTS vessels.
• Relevant deck qualifications and certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
