Job Description:
OOL is urgently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman to join a Research / Survey Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will support deck operations, vessel maintenance, and survey activities onboard. The assignment is for approximately 7 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform deck operations and routine maintenance tasks
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and vessel handling operations
Support survey and research vessel activities
Maintain deck equipment and working areas
Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Valid Passport
Valid AB Certificate of Competency
UK FWP / Right to Work required
Minimum one COVID-19 vaccination required
Previous experience on similar vessel type
Good English communication skills
