Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is recruiting an experienced Able Seaman to join a Large Research Vessel operating in the UK. The successful candidate will support deck operations, vessel maintenance, and research activities onboard while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform deck operations and routine maintenance duties
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and vessel handling operations
Support research and offshore vessel activities
Maintain deck equipment and working areas
Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman’s Book
UK Right to Work required
UK Seaman’s Book required
Valid Able Seaman Certificate of Competency
Previous experience on similar vessel types preferred
Good English communication skills
