Job Description

PT. BCP is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a crewboat operating in the UAE.

The successful candidate must have at least two years of relevant maritime experience, good English communication skills, and the ability to support safe and efficient deck operations. Previous crewboat or offshore vessel experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, unmooring, and other deck operations.
• Support the safe embarkation and disembarkation of personnel.
• Assist with passenger and equipment transfers in accordance with onboard procedures.
• Inspect and maintain deck equipment and lifesaving appliances.
• Participate in onboard safety drills and emergency response activities.
• Follow instructions from the Master and deck officers.
• Comply with company safety procedures and applicable maritime regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant maritime experience.
• Previous crewboat or offshore vessel experience preferred.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Valid STCW certificates and other required maritime documents relevant to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good command of English and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of deck operations, mooring procedures, and onboard safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a professional crew.
• Availability to work in the UAE on a 6-month-on / 1-month-off rotation.
