Job Description

TOS People is seeking experienced Able Seamen / Riggers to join a Jack-Up Barge offshore project.

The successful candidate will support deck maintenance, rigging, lifting operations, and the safe handling of offshore equipment. Previous Jack-Up Barge experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
• Assist with rigging, slinging, and preparation of lifting equipment.
• Support lifting operations in accordance with approved lift plans and procedures.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and other deck activities.
• Inspect rigging equipment and report defects.
• Follow instructions from the Bosun, Chief Officer, and lifting supervisors.
• Maintain safe and organized working areas.
• Participate in toolbox talks and comply with HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an Able Seaman, Rigger, or in a combined AB / Rigger role on Jack-Up Barges.
• Valid Seaman's Book and medical fitness certificate, where applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant COP or professional qualifications.
• Relevant rigging and lifting certificates, where required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices and deck operations.
• Good communication skills and a safety-conscious attitude.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for offshore mobilisation as required.
