Job Description

Select Offshore is looking for experienced AB / Riggers for upcoming opportunities onboard offshore vessels and Jack-Up Barges.

The successful candidates will support deck operations, rigging activities, lifting operations, and general deck maintenance while maintaining high standards of safety onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, and routine vessel upkeep.
• Assist with rigging, lifting, and cargo-handling operations.
• Prepare and inspect lifting and rigging equipment before use.
• Assist with mooring and other deck operations as required.
• Follow safe working practices and offshore lifting procedures.
• Report damaged or defective equipment to the responsible officer or supervisor.

Requirements

• National COP II/5 or WKC II/4.
• Minimum 2 years of offshore vessel experience.
• Experience on vessels above 400 GRT.
• Previous experience on Jack-Up Barges is advantageous.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Relevant rigging/lifting experience and certification where required.
• Ability to work safely in an offshore environment.
