AB for SOV (Schengen Visa)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Able Bodied Seaman (AB) to join a vessel operating in European waters. The successful candidate will support deck operations, maintenance activities, cargo handling, mooring operations, and general vessel safety procedures. Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and towing operations.
• Performing routine deck maintenance, including painting, cleaning, and preservation work.
• Participating in cargo operations and deck equipment maintenance as directed.
• Standing watch and carrying out lookout duties when assigned.
• Supporting emergency response activities and participating in safety drills.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as Able Bodied Seaman, Able Bodied Seaman Additional, or Key Able Bodied Seaman.
• Valid Engineering Watch Rating (Reg. III/4) certificate.
• Valid Schengen Visa.
