Job Description:
An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Harbour Tug Vessel operated by a Spanish owner. The successful candidate will support daily tug operations, deck maintenance, mooring activities, and vessel safety procedures. Previous experience working on Harbour Tugs is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with towing, mooring, and harbour maneuvering operations.
Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and equipment inspections.
Ensure safe handling of ropes, towing gear, and deck machinery.
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures onboard.
Support the Master and deck officers during vessel operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Proven experience as an Able Seaman on Harbour Tug Vessels.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Knowledge of towing operations and harbour vessel procedures.
Availability for immediate joining.
