Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) to join a Cable Installation Vessel supporting offshore cable-laying projects. The role involves assisting with deck operations, mooring activities, and equipment handling during offshore installation works. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient deck operations throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with deck preparation and cable-laying operations
• Supporting crane and lifting operations onboard
• Handling mooring lines during vessel arrival, departure, and positioning
• Standing deck watch as instructed by the Officer on duty
• Performing routine deck maintenance (cleaning, chipping, painting, repairs)
• Following all safety procedures and participating in toolbox talks and emergency drills

Requirements:
• Valid Able Seafarer Deck Certificate (STCW II/5)
• UK Frontier Worker Permit (mandatory requirement)
• BOSIET / HUET / CA-EBS certification
• STCW Basic Safety Training (SOLAS)
• STCW Security Awareness (A-VI/6-1)
• GWO Sea Survival training
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book
