Job Description:
Fletcher Group is urgently looking for a UK/Ireland-based Able Seaman (AB) or Deckhand for a short-notice mobilisation onboard a DP2 PSV (Platform Supply Vessel). The successful candidate must be available to travel and mobilise ASAP. Due to the short notice, only UK/Irish candidates can be considered.
Open Positions:
Able Seaman (AB) / Deckhand
• Vessel: DP2 PSV
• Vessel Location: North East England
• Mobilisation: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks onboard
• Day Rate: Subject to UK PAYE
Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Carrying out general deck and seamanship duties onboard
• Assisting with mooring, cargo handling, and deck operations
• Maintaining deck equipment and work areas in safe working condition
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
• Following vessel safety, security, and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Previous experience as an AB or Deckhand
• UK or Irish nationality/residency due to short-notice mobilisation
• Valid STCW certificates, including Designated Security Duties
• Valid Passport
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Complete and valid seafarer documentation
• Availability to travel and mobilise ASAP
