We are seeking a qualified 3rd Officer / Junior DPO (JDPO) for a SCOV DP2 vessel operating in U.S. waters.
The vessel operates under the Norwegian flag, with GRT 7,530 t, LOA 107 m, ASD 18,654 hp, and equipped with one crane (150 tonnes SWL).
This position supports offshore wind operations; therefore, a valid U.S. visa for wind activities is mandatory.
The contract is 4 weeks, with a competitive daily rate and joining planned for 10 December.
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supporting navigation, watchkeeping, and bridge operations in compliance with DP2 requirements
• Assisting with DP operations under supervision of senior DPOs
• Ensuring accurate entries in DP Logbook and vessel documentation
• Supporting deck and marine operations, including crane and project activities
• Maintaining compliance with safety regulations, vessel procedures, and operational guidelines
• Officer of the Watch License (STCW II/1)
• DP Advanced Certificate
• DP Logbook with records of DP time
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Minimum 12 months experience on similar DP2 vessels as 3rd Officer/JDPO
• Valid U.S. visa (for wind operations)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Eligibility due to flag requirements:
– Holders of valid EU passports, or
– Ukrainian nationals with EU residence permits
• Full compliance with documentation requirements
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks
• Salary: 240 EUR per day
