3rd Engineer on SCOV DP3 (North Sea)

Location: North Sea, Norway

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified 3rd Engineer to join a Norwegian-flagged SCOV DP3 vessel operating in the North Sea. The vessel has a GRT of 12,652 and was built in 2015. The contract duration is 4 weeks, with a joining date of 19 October. The successful candidate must have relevant offshore vessel experience and hold all required licenses, certificates, and medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supporting the Chief Engineer and engine department in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s machinery and equipment
• Carrying out maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of main and auxiliary machinery
• Monitoring and maintaining engineering systems in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and engineering activities
• Ensuring compliance with applicable maritime, STCW, and offshore safety regulations

Requirements:
• Valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) / 3rd Engineer CoC
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant Flag State Endorsement
• Valid OPITO HUET and CA-EBS certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience as 3rd Engineer on MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessels
• Valid passport and seaman’s book with documented sea service
• References from previous employers
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
