3rd Engineer on DSV DP2(North Sea)

Job Description:
An offshore company is currently recruiting an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a DSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. The vessel has 8,009 GRT, was built in 2007, and sails under the Norwegian flag.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting safe and efficient engine-room operations and maintenance onboard. Candidates must have relevant experience on MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessels and meet all required certification and offshore training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Support safe and efficient engine-room operations and maintenance
• Operate, inspect, and maintain machinery and technical equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance
• Follow company HSE procedures and applicable maritime regulations
• Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records as required

Requirements:
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience as 3rd Engineer on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessels
• Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) license
• Valid OPITO HUET including CA-EBS
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical certificate
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book
• References from previous employers
• Good English communication skills
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
