We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced 3rd Engineer (3E) to join a Cable Layer vessel for an offshore project in the Netherlands.
Project Location: Netherlands
Joining Port: Rotterdam
Travel: Transfer to Eemshaven on 03 March
Start Date: 04 March
Rotation: Approximately 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off
Contract Type: Offshore rotational
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid BOSIET certificate – mandatory
• Valid CA-EBS certificate – mandatory
• Boat Transfer experience OR valid GWO Sea Survival certificate (CTW crew changes involved)
• Previous experience on Cable Layer vessels preferred
• Offshore DP vessel experience is an advantage
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Assist Chief Engineer in engine room operations and maintenance
• Maintain and operate engine room machinery and auxiliary systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures
• Participate in watchkeeping duties
• Assist with planned maintenance and repair work
