Job Description

TOS People is recruiting a qualified Second Officer – Non-DP for an offshore Jack-Up Barge project. The successful candidate will support navigational watchkeeping, bridge operations, safety activities, and vessel documentation.

Previous Jack-Up Barge experience is required. This position does not specify DP duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
• Assist with passage planning and maintain navigational documentation.
• Monitor bridge equipment and report defects or irregularities.
• Support vessel safety procedures and emergency drills.
• Assist with operational planning and coordination with deck personnel.
• Maintain accurate bridge records and related documentation.
• Follow the instructions of the Master and senior officers.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Second Officer on Jack-Up Barges.
• Valid Second Officer Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
• Knowledge of navigational watchkeeping and maritime safety procedures.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability for offshore mobilisation as required.
