Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced 3rd Officer / DPO to join an MPSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
The vessel has a GRT of 7,530, was built in 2008, and operates under the Norwegian flag. The position is offered on a 4-week contract, with a joining date of 16 September.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience on similar MPSV DP2 vessels and hold the required navigation, DP, and offshore safety certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a safe navigational watch and supporting vessel operations.
- Performing DP operations in accordance with company procedures.
- Assisting with passage planning and maintaining navigational documentation.
- Supporting deck and offshore operations as required.
- Participating in emergency drills and ensuring compliance with onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) License.
- Valid DP Full Certificate.
- Valid HUET certificate.
- Valid CA-EBS certificate.
- Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of 3rd Officer / DPO on similar types of vessels.
- Valid COC and Endorsement.
- All valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Passport.
- Valid Seaman’s Book with documented sea service.
- Valid Medical Certificate.
- References from previous employers.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Good English communication skills.
