Navis is recruiting an experienced 3rd Officer / DPO to join an MPSV DP2 operating in the North Sea.
The vessel has a GRT of 7,530, was built in 2008, and sails under the Norwegian Flag. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, Dynamic Positioning operations, and offshore activities.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform bridge watchkeeping and assist with safe navigation
• Operate and monitor the Dynamic Positioning system during offshore operations
• Maintain navigation equipment, charts, publications, and bridge records
• Support safe vessel positioning during offshore activities
• Monitor DP systems, alarms, and operational parameters
• Participate in emergency drills, safety meetings, and risk assessments
• Maintain accurate DP and bridge documentation
• Assist senior officers with deck and marine operations
• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency / License
• Valid DP Full Certificate
• Valid HUET with CA-EBS
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience on similar offshore vessels in the rank of 3rd Officer / DPO
• Previous MPSV / OCV / DSV experience preferred
• Valid COC and Endorsement
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book with complete sea-service records
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Good English communication skills
