Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Officer (DPO/JDPO) to join a dynamic offshore vessel operating in European waters. The successful candidate will support navigation and dynamic positioning operations, maintain safe watchkeeping standards, and ensure compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations. Key Responsibilities As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintaining safe navigational watch in accordance with international regulations.
Assisting with Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations and monitoring vessel position.
Planning and updating voyage routes, charts, and navigational publications.
Ensuring compliance with safety management systems and company procedures.
Maintaining accurate bridge records, logs, and operational documentation.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Minimum 12 months of experience as 2nd Officer (DPO) or 2nd Officer (JDPO).
Valid Navigational Watch Officer (Reg. II/1) Certificate of Competency.
Valid Schengen Visa.
