2nd Officer for Construction Vessel (Far East)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Officer to join a Construction Vessel operating in the Far East. This offshore position offers a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation, with an expected joining date of 14 July. The successful candidate should have previous construction vessel experience and hold a valid DP Unlimited certificate to support dynamic positioning operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

- Assist the Master in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Maintain navigational watches in accordance with international maritime regulations.
- Support Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations during offshore construction activities.
- Prepare navigational documentation and maintain bridge equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and international maritime standards.

Requirements:

- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency
- Previous Construction Vessel experience
- DP Unlimited certificate
- HUET with CA-EBS
- Fast Rescue Boat (FRB) certificate
