2nd Engineer for Offshore Crane Vessel

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION A Second Engineer, also referred to as a Second Assistant Engineer, plays a critical role in the maritime industry, especially in offshore operations. As a 2nd Engineer on an offshore crane vessel, you assist the Chief Engineer in managing and overseeing the engineering department. Your responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and systems such as engines, generators, pumps, compressors, boilers, and refrigeration units. You ensure that routine maintenance tasks are completed, conduct regular inspections and tests to guarantee the safe and efficient operation of equipment, and assist in the operation, upkeep, and repair of the vessel’s machinery.
