Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Heavy Lift Vessel supporting US Wind Operations. The position is scheduled to start on 18th June for a 6-week contract.
The successful candidate will support engine room operations onboard a heavy lift vessel engaged in offshore wind activities. This role requires relevant offshore experience and valid US work authorization for wind operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting with operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery
Supporting safe engine room operations on Heavy Lift Vessel
Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections
Ensuring compliance with offshore safety and environmental procedures
Supporting senior engineering officers in daily operations
Requirements:
Valid COC (2nd Engineer or equivalent)
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid passport
Relevant offshore experience
US Wind Activities Visa (mandatory)
GWO SS certificate
