Job Description:
We are is seeking an experienced Second Engineer for deployment onboard a Geotechnical Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. The role involves supporting engine room operations and maintenance during offshore geotechnical projects. Candidates must be available to join between for an 8-week assignment and hold valid UK working rights.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
• Ensure safe and efficient functioning of all mechanical and electrical systems
• Support DP-related maintenance and operations
• Comply with HSE and maritime regulations
• Maintain records and follow planned maintenance schedules
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid STCW certification
• BOSIET / FOET certification
• DP Maintenance certificate
• Valid medical certificate
• Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
