Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a Fallpipe Vessel operating in offshore waters near Taiwan. The role involves supporting engine room operations, maintenance, and safety compliance during offshore construction activities. The assignment is short-term and requires a technically competent engineer with relevant offshore and vessel-specific experience, ready to work in demanding operational conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of main engines and auxiliary machinery
• Overseeing engine room watchkeeping and daily operational routines
• Carrying out planned maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
• Monitoring fuel, lubricants, and consumables and reporting irregularities
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company procedures
• Supporting offshore operations specific to Fallpipe vessel activities

Requirements:
• Valid STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) as 2nd Engineer
• Valid STCW Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous experience on offshore or construction vessels (Fallpipe experience preferred)
• High Voltage certification
• GWO Sea Survival
• GWO Working at Height
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong safety awareness and offshore work ethic
