Job Description:
We are looking for a 2nd Engineer for a Cable Layer DP2 vessel operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Contract duration is 90 days, with joining ASAP.
Candidates must hold a Second Engineer’s License and DP Maintenance Certificate. A minimum of 24 months experience onboard similar DP2 vessels in the rank of 2nd Engineer is required.
ARAMCO-approved candidates are preferred. Applicants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of main and auxiliary machinery
• Supporting DP maintenance systems and ensuring DP readiness
• Supervising engine room operations during cable laying activities
• Maintaining planned maintenance systems and technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Second Engineer’s License
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• Minimum 24 months experience as 2nd Engineer on DP2 vessels
• ARAMCO approval (preferred)
• Marlins Test — minimum 70% in all sections
• Proficiency in English communication
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
