We are looking for an experienced Second Engineer to join a DP2 Cable Layer Vessel operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project requires strong engineering skills, excellent knowledge of DP Maintenance systems, and proven experience on similar DP2 vessels.
The contract is 90 days with a competitive day rate. ARAMCO-approved candidates are preferred, and the selected candidate must be available to join ASAP.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Oversee and manage all engine room operations and machinery performance
• Ensure proper maintenance of DP systems (DP Maintenance Certificate required)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair onboard mechanical/electrical systems
• Maintain logs, records, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Support safe and efficient vessel operations in coordination with the engineering team and Master
• Valid Second Engineer’s License (STCW III/2)
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 24 months actual onboard experience as 2nd Engineer on DP2 vessels
• ARAMCO-approved candidates highly preferable
• Marlins Test: minimum 70% in all sections
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
• Contract Duration: 90 days
• Salary: USD 350 per day
