Oiler for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is recruiting an Oiler to join an LPG tanker. The successful candidate will assist the engine department with machinery monitoring, lubrication, routine maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe engine room.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Monitor assigned machinery and lubrication systems.
• Assist engineers with routine maintenance and repairs.
• Check equipment condition and report abnormalities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and keep tools organized.
• Follow engine-room safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an Oiler or in a similar engine-room position.
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the position.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• LPG tanker experience and any required vessel-specific familiarization training are subject to company and flag requirements.
