Job Responsibilities
Deck Department
- Conduct navigational watchkeeping duties
- Support LNG cargo and deck operations
- Participate in mooring and anchoring activities
- Maintain deck equipment and safety systems
- Ensure compliance with LNG operational procedures
Engine Department
- Operate and maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
- Support LNG vessel engineering operations
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain engine room operational readiness
Catering Department
- Prepare meals for officers and crew
- Maintain food hygiene and sanitation standards
- Manage provisions and galley inventory
- Support crew welfare through catering services
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package
- Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in multinational crew environments
Officer Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) appropriate to rank
- Previous LNG Tanker or Gas Carrier experience preferred
- Experience in the same rank preferred
Engineering Requirements
- Relevant engineering certification and endorsements
- Experience with LNG, gas carrier, tanker, or similar vessel machinery preferred
LNG Experience
- Previous LNG Tanker experience will be highly advantageous
- Familiarity with LNG cargo operations and safety procedures preferred
- Strong understanding of international maritime and LNG industry standards
