Job Description
PT. Acak Samudera Indonesia is currently recruiting experienced crew members to join Container Vessels operating on international routes.
The company is seeking qualified deck and engine ratings for an 8-month contract. Candidates should have relevant experience in their respective ranks and hold valid maritime certificates and documents.
Open Positions
Deck Department
- Bosun – USD 2,600/month
- Carpenter – USD 2,400/month
- Able Seaman (AB) – USD 2,200/month
Engine Department
- No. 1 Oiler – USD 2,600/month
- Fitter – USD 2,400/month
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform deck or engine-room duties according to rank.
- Support vessel maintenance and daily operations.
- Carry out mooring, deck maintenance, and cargo-related activities.
- Assist with machinery maintenance and engine-room operations.
- Maintain assigned equipment and working areas.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
- Follow company HSE policies and international maritime regulations.
- Maintain operational readiness throughout the contract.
- Work effectively as part of a multinational crew.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the same rank onboard Container Vessels preferred.
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to the applied position.
- Valid Certificate of Proficiency where applicable.
- Valid passport and seaman's book.
- Valid medical certificate.
- All required maritime documents must be valid and up to date.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational crew environment.
- Physically and medically fit for sea service.
