Job Description

Laurel Carriers is recruiting qualified and experienced officers and ratings for Oil / Chemical Tanker vessels. The company operates under international maritime and tanker safety standards, requiring high levels of professionalism, technical competence, and safety awareness.

Deck Department:

• Chief Officer (1) – 10,700
• 2nd Officer (1) – 5,150
• 3rd Officer (1) – 4,130
• Bosun (1) – 2,500
• Able Seaman (1) – 1,750
• Ordinary Seaman (1) – 1,131

Engine Department:

• Chief Engineer (1) – 12,750
• 2nd Engineer (1) – 10,700
• 3rd Engineer (1) – 5,150
• 4th Engineer (1) – 4,130
• Pumpman (1) – 3,100
• Fitter (1) – 3,100

Electrical:

• ETO (1) – 7,200

Key Responsibilities

• Safe navigation, cargo handling, and machinery operation in compliance with tanker regulations
• Maintenance and operation of deck, engine, and cargo systems
• Strict adherence to ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, and Oil/Chemical tanker safety procedures
• Participation in drills, inspections, and onboard safety training
• Effective teamwork within a multinational crew

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to rank
• Previous experience on Oil / Chemical Tankers
• Ratings must hold a valid OIC license
• Good English communication skills
• Valid travel documents and medical fitness
