Job Description
Anglo-Eastern is inviting applications from qualified and experienced seafarers to join a Parcel Chemical Tanker vessel.
Recruitment is open for deck ratings, engine department personnel, and catering crew. Candidates should have relevant experience in the position applied for and hold valid maritime certificates and seafarer documentation.
Previous chemical tanker experience is an advantage, particularly for positions involved in cargo handling and pump-room operations.

Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Pumpman
- Assist with cargo loading, discharging, and transfer operations.
- Maintain and inspect cargo pumps, pipelines, valves, and associated equipment.
- Monitor pump-room equipment and report defects.
- Follow cargo-handling procedures and chemical tanker safety requirements.
Bosun
- Supervise deck ratings and coordinate routine deck operations.
- Maintain deck equipment, mooring systems, and safety gear.
- Assist with cargo-related deck activities and onboard maintenance.
Able Seaman (AB)
- Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related deck operations.
- Perform watchkeeping duties when assigned and qualified.
Ordinary Seaman (OS)
- Assist with routine deck maintenance and housekeeping.
- Support mooring and anchoring operations under supervision.
- Follow instructions from senior deck officers and comply with safety procedures.
Fitter
- Perform maintenance, fabrication, and repairs on machinery and metal components.
- Assist the engine department with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Oiler
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
- Monitor lubrication, machinery conditions, and equipment performance.
- Maintain engine-room cleanliness and report defects to the engineering team.
Chief Cook
- Plan and prepare meals for officers and crew.
- Maintain food hygiene, galley cleanliness, and safe food-storage practices.
- Manage provisions and ensure efficient galley operations.
Messman
- Assist with meal service and general catering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness in the mess room, accommodation areas, and assigned spaces.
- Support the Chief Cook with galley housekeeping and provision handling.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the position applied for.
- Previous parcel chemical tanker or chemical tanker experience is an advantage.
- Valid Seaman’s Book.
- Valid STCW certificates and professional qualifications relevant to the applied rank.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Knowledge of onboard safety procedures and ability to work effectively as part of a professional crew.
- Ability to comply with company procedures and applicable maritime regulations.
