Job Description:
Open vacancies are available for a Livestock Carrier vessel, requiring experienced crew across deck, engine, and catering departments. These vessels specialize in transporting live animals, requiring strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and animal welfare standards. Candidates must have prior experience on livestock carriers and demonstrate stability in their rank.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing safe navigation and cargo operations involving livestock
• Maintaining engine room systems and vessel machinery
• Ensuring proper care, ventilation, and monitoring of livestock onboard
• Performing deck operations including maintenance and mooring
• Supporting catering services and maintaining onboard hygiene standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Experience on Livestock Carrier vessels (mandatory)
• Good and stable experience in rank
• Valid Schengen visa (mandatory)
