Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of the chemical tanker
- Compliance with international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW)
- Proper cargo handling and safety awareness (for deck & engine officers)
- Maintenance of vessel, machinery, and equipment
- Teamwork and effective communication onboard during international voyages
Requirements
- Valid STCW Certificates and Certificate of Competency (CoC) relevant to rank
- Previous experience on chemical tankers (preferred for officers and senior ratings)
- Proven experience sailing in international waters, including:
- Europe
- Africa
- Asia
- Australia
- Americas
- Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
- Good command of English
- Strong safety culture and ability to work in a multicultural crew
