Job Description
PT. Veratama Global Mandiri is currently seeking qualified and motivated seafarers to join its Bulk Carrier fleet operating on international trading routes.
Successful candidates will support vessel navigation, cargo handling operations, engine room management, electrical maintenance, machinery upkeep, catering services, and overall vessel safety while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company operational standards.
This opportunity is ideal for maritime professionals with previous Bulk Carrier experience and the ability to work effectively within multinational crew environments.

Job Responsibilities
Deck Department
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties
- Support cargo loading and discharge operations
- Conduct mooring and anchoring activities
- Maintain deck equipment and safety systems
- Carry out deck maintenance and preservation work
Engine Department
- Operate and maintain vessel machinery and auxiliary systems
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
- Maintain engine room operational readiness
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Catering Department
- Prepare meals for officers and crew
- Maintain galley hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage food stores and provisions
- Support crew welfare through catering services
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid STCW Certificates
- Valid Seaman Book
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Previous Bulk Carrier experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Good technical knowledge and positive attitude
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Ready for immediate joining
Officer Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) appropriate to rank
- Previous experience in the same rank preferred
Engineering Requirements
- Relevant engineering certifications and endorsements
- Experience with marine electrical or mechanical systems preferred
