Job Description:
A European shipping company is urgently looking for qualified and experienced crew to join Crude Oil Tanker / VLCC vessels. The recruitment is open for engine department positions, including Wiper, Oiler, Pumpman, 4th Engineer, and 3rd Engineer.
The vessels are indicated as VLCC units with GRT up to 150,000, with additional information referring to GRT 40,000. Candidates should have relevant experience on the same vessel type and hold valid STCW certificates and a valid medical certificate.
Open Positions:
(3) Wiper – USD 1,050/month
(3) Oiler – USD 1,300/month
Pumpman – USD 1,800/month
4th Engineer – USD 2,500/month
3rd Engineer – USD 3,500/month
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carrying out duties according to the assigned rank and department responsibilities.
Supporting safe and efficient engine room and cargo-related operations.
Maintaining machinery, equipment, and work areas in good operating condition.
Following vessel safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Assisting with routine maintenance, inspections, and operational tasks as required.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Relevant experience on the same type of vessel.
Experience with Crude Oil Tankers / VLCC vessels preferred.
Maximum 2 years of experience as specified by the employer.
Valid seafarer documentation.
Ability to work safely and efficiently onboard an oil tanker.
