Fitter for VLCC Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime is seeking an experienced Fitter for a Very Large Crude Carrier. The position involves mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and support of the vessel's engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Assisting with machinery overhauls and inspections.
• Carrying out fabrication and workshop tasks.
• Supporting engineers during repairs and maintenance.
• Maintaining safe working practices in the engine-room and workshop areas.

Requirements

• Previous Fitter experience on VLCC or relevant tanker vessels.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in rank.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid US Visa preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
