Fitter for Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Westminster Seafarer Management Philippines, Inc. is recruiting a qualified Fitter to perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and related technical duties onboard a tanker vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing routine mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Assisting with pipework, fittings, and component replacement.
• Using workshop tools and equipment safely.
• Supporting inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Maintaining a safe and orderly work area in accordance with vessel procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant fitter or mechanical trade qualifications, where applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as required for the position.
• Relevant shipboard or industrial mechanical experience.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Tanker experience preferred or as required by the employer.
