Job Description:
Fitter performs welding, fabrication, and repair tasks on the ship’s machinery, structures, and pipelines under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform metal cutting, welding, and fitting jobs.
• Assist in repair and maintenance of ship machinery.
• Fabricate supports, brackets, and minor structures.
• Follow safety procedures during hot work.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness.
• Proven experience as Fitter or Welder on vessels.
• Knowledge of shipboard safety procedures.
• Proficiency in English.
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: 6–9 months.
