Fitter for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Status Maritime Corp. is urgently hiring an experienced Fitter to join an LPG Tanker Vessel. The successful candidate will support the engineering department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and upkeep of vessel machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Assisting with machinery overhauls and inspections.
• Performing fabrication and workshop activities.
• Supporting engineers during mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintaining safe working practices in the engine-room and workshop.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fitter onboard.
• LPG or tanker vessel experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer's documents.
• Proficiency in English communication.
